It has come to our attention that some members of the public have received job offers made on behalf of HEINEKEN in the UK, or by people claiming to work for, or be affiliated to HEINEKEN.
At some point during the communication, the aim is to solicit the transfer of significant sums of money to pay for work permits, insurance policies, etc.
Please note that these communications are entirely fraudulent, they do not originate from HEINEKEN and at no point would we ask a candidate to part with any money during the recruitment process.
Points that may indicate that you are the target of fraudulent recruitment:
- The use of poor English and grammatical errors in communication
- Poorly formatted documentation that does not match the HEINEKEN brand
- Communication does not come from a "@heineken.co.uk" email address
- Emails will often include the HEINEKEN name and logo without authority (usually the logo is of a poor quality). The name of a genuine recruitment/agency website may be used to make the scam appear more credible.
- Candidates are often requested to contact other companies or professionals, such as lawyers, barristers, immigration officials or travel agencies.
- Do not enter into any correspondence with these individuals, give them your personal details or send payment of any kind.
Contact the police if you believe you have been the victim of recruitment fraud.
