Good Call Centre Brings Brad & Dan To ‘Worried Brits’

Friday, May 11th 2012

Foster’s, the beer brand that embodies the Aussie ‘No Worries’ approach to life, is launching a Good Call Centre in response to a Facebook petition calling for a ‘real-world’ helpline that offers tongue-in-cheek advice to daily dilemmas from TV agony uncles Brad and Dan.

The introduction of the new online service also coincides with the results of a survey commissioned by Foster’s which reveals that British men are natural worriers rather than warriors – with more than a quarter of men polled firmly believing that they stress more frequently than their girlfriends. Concerns about the way they look, worrying whether their banter with mates is up to standard and talking to women top their list of dilemmas.

Nic Casby, Brand Manager- Foster’s at HEINEKEN Said: “The Good Call Centre provides an interactive platform for Foster’s drinkers to create and deliver a personalised video message from Brad and Dan to a mate who could benefit from a few friendly pearls of wisdom.”

“ Along the way, users will meet our Foster’s Good Call Centre girls who will seek out relevant information about their friend’s personal dilemma and help callers to choose the most appropriate video response which can then be posted directly to a friend’s Facebook wall or shared via a URL.”

The Foster’s Good Call Centre can be accessed now at www.fosters.co.uk/goodcallcentre .The activity will be seeded and supported through Video on Demand, Facebook,, YouTube and other leading social media sites.
