HEINEKEN in the UK aims to address alcohol misuse through Community Partnerships. We have a strong record of implementing our own responsible consumption strategies and encouraging others in the UK alcohol industry to address alcohol misuse.

We believe that targeted initiatives are more effective than whole of population measures. Strategies should recognise that the vast majority of people drink responsibly and the vast majority of premises sell alcohol responsibly.

We build strategic community partnerships that pilot new and innovative ways to encourage responsible alcohol consumption and reduce the harm caused by alcohol misuse. Planned programmes of activities are developed, implemented and evaluated so that we can demonstrate the community impact and value of our partnerships.
