HEINEKEN Brands Win Top Billing At BST Hyde Park Festival

HEINEKEN, the UK’s leading cider and beer business, has secured a major agreement with blue-chip sports and entertainment presenters AEG that installs the company as the main supplier of cider and beer to the Barclaycard British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival for the next five years.

The 2013 Festival, which runs from July 5-14, consists of 6 ticketed live music events – with headline acts including the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Elton John, JLS, Kaiser Chiefs, Bush and the Beach Boys - and 4 non-ticketed public activity days.

The British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival is expected to attract over 450,000 spectators to the London Royal Park over a ten-day period. The event will also feature 4 nights of top-class comedy in the 450-seater Barclaycard Unwind Theatre from July 8-11, performed under the banner of Hyde Park Comedy presented by Foster’s.

HEINEKEN will supply the Festival bars with a wide range of draught and packaged cider and beer, with leading big name brands Heineken®, Foster’s, Strongbow and Bulmers supported by a line-up of speciality brands which will include Birra Moretti, Sagres, Theakston’s Bitter and Symonds Cider.
