HEINEKEN Announces Senior Off Trade Management Team Appointments

In a move to strengthen its focus on category and trade marketing, HEINEKEN, the UK’s leading cider and beer business, has confirmed the appointment of Craig Clarkson as Category & Trade Marketing Director –Off Trade.

With immediate effect, Clarkson will move from his current role as Trading Director in Wholesale and Convenience, where he led the successful roll-out and development of the company’s category vision. Over an eight-year period, Clarkson has held a number of senior Sales and Marketing positions within HEINEKEN’s off trade business and he was instrumental in the delivery of the HEINEKEN Star Retailer programme in the convenience channel.

Before joining HEINEKEN in 2005, Clarkson enjoyed 10 years of sales, category and customer marketing experience at Britvic Soft Drinks and Unilever.

Dan Robinson will succeed Clarkson as Trading Director- Wholesale and Convenience. Robinson has held senior Commercial roles with HEINEKEN in both the off and on trade sectors, most recently as Head of First Point, HEINEKEN’s on trade customer services operation in Edinburgh.
