Heineken® launches brand new glassware

31st March 2015

Heineken®, the world's most international premium beer brand, is introducing a new 'Star' pint and half pint glass.

Available from April, the beer's latest glass is taller, prouder and has an eye-catching premium design to ensure the highest quality serve every time.

The new glassware enhances the Heineken® beer experience through a tactile design that will enhance the consumer experience. The distinctive, embossed red star above the Heineken® logo, the inscription of the global Heineken® strapline 'Open your World' on the bottom of each glass makes it stand out over competitors.

The design of the glass also includes curves in the glass which facilitate the perfect beer flow from the tap into the glass, creating a smooth, foamy head to lock in the carbonation.

Andrew Turner, On Trade Category & Trade Marketing Director at HEINEKEN comments: "We all know that if you deliver a quality first pint consumers will return to the bar for a second. The new Heineken® glassware is one that our consumers want to hold and to be seen holding. And importantly, the glass doesn't only look great, it's been designed to make sure the beer tastes and looks its very best – so consumers know they're getting an exceptional glass of beer."

A schooner with the new design will be launched later this year.
