Did You Know?
All our Caledonian beers are still brewed at the original brewery in Edinburgh, which was founded when the city was seen as one of the foremost brewing centres in the world.
Caledonian Brewery uses three unique direct fired copper kettles which offer a unique caramelisation of malt flavours and deliver hop character.
The Caledonian Brewery is named after the Caledonian Railway line which is directly behind the brewery (and was the first train to connect England and Scotland). The brewery had its own railway siding which was used to load beer, hops and malt.
