HEINEKEN UK and Carlsberg UK exercise option to acquire Innserve

On 8 June 2020, a subsidiary of Serviced Dispense Equipment (Holdings) Limited (Old Innserve Limited), which is a long-standing joint venture between HEINEKEN UK Limited (“HUK”) and Carlsberg UK Limited (“CUK”) and part of the “SDE Group”, exercised an option to acquire all of the shares in Innserve Limited (“Innserve”) (the “Transaction”).
HUK is wholly and indirectly owned by Heineken N.V., whose principal commercial activities are the brewing and distribution of alcoholic beverages, in particular, beer and cider, on an international basis.
CUK is a subsidiary of the newly formed joint venture, Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company Limited, whose indirect shareholders are Marston’s PLC and Carlsberg A/S. Carlsberg A/S is the ultimate parent company of the Carlsberg group, whose principal commercial activities are the brewing and distribution of alcoholic beverages, in particular, beer and cider, in over 100 countries. Marston’s PLC is a leading pub operator in Great Britain.
Innserve procures and manages technical services equipment for and provides technical services to and on behalf of the SDE Group.
