James Crampton
Corporate Affairs Director
James joined HEINEKEN in March 2020 from global attractions operator Merlin Entertainments where, as Corporate Affairs Director for four years, he led the development of the function and its integration into the wider business, culminating in the transaction to take Merlin private. He has 20 years’ experience in Corporate Affairs in both in-house and agency roles, with ten years within the beverage industry. Prior to Merlin, James spent nearly eight years at Diageo in both global and regional positions including as IR Director, External Comms Director and Communications & Sustainability Director for Diageo Africa. He previously worked in communications at SABMiller.

Nejat Erguven
Digital & Technology Director
Nejat joined HEINEKEN UK in September 2022 from British American Tobacco where he led the development of digital products from innovation to market launch for the first connected global new category of vaping products and was appointed as Area Head of Digital, Technology and Business Services for Central Europe North.
Nejat started his professional career as a basketball player at Efes Pilsen and later in Ulkerspor. Nejat followed his dream to play college basketball and study in the USA and has degrees in Computer Information Systems and Information Technologies. Before joining HEINEKEN UK, Nejat worked across a number of different strategic technology and business roles at Agis Zorgverzekeringen, Vodafone, Tele2 Group and Avon Cosmetics. -
Jonathan Ford
Off Trade Director
Jonathan joined the Management Team in July 2020, having spent the last 11 years with HEINEKEN UK in a number of senior commercial leadership roles across the Off Trade including Trading Director. His 26 years’ experience in the drinks industry, across both On Trade and Off Trade, ranges from time with Bass Brewers, Molson Coors, Ubevco Distributors and prior to joining HEINEKEN, as Sales Director of Tiger Beer UK.
An MBA graduate of Nottingham University, Jonathan lives in Yorkshire with his wife and two sons. -
Boudewijn Haarsma
Managing Director
Boudewijn joined the UK business in August 2022 from HEINEKEN Russia where he was the Managing Director since 2018. During his time in Russia, Boudewijn developed HEINEKEN’s premium portfolio, accelerating innovation and implementing operating efficiencies.
Boudewijn joined HEINEKEN in 1995 as a Management Trainee. He’s since worked in a number of commercial and management roles, including leading the company’s global innovation function, before moving to Nigeria in 2010 for the acquisition of a brewery group. He subsequently took up the role of MD of Consolidated Breweries, which he led three years later into a merger with Nigerian Breweries, resulting in a single HEINEKEN operating company. In 2015, Boudewijn was appointed as Managing Director East & West Africa. During his tenure, the Operating Companies in his area realised double-digit revenue and profit growth, often underpinned by innovation. -
Christopher Kerr
Supply Chain Director
Christopher joined HEINEKEN UK in October 2022 from DB Breweries in New Zealand, part of The HEINEKEN Company. As Supply Chain Director at DB Breweries, he enhanced the route-to-market, improved customer service, built on the sustainability agenda and successfully implemented digital solutions.
Christopher joined HEINEKEN in 2008 as a Global TPM (Total Productive Management) Director, subsequently leading different teams to establish this methodology in more than 150 breweries across the world.
In 2015 Christopher returned to an operational role and led the Supply Chain at AB Breweries in Greece, part of The HEINEKEN Company, where he developed and drove the business strategy, delivering significant cost savings, efficiencies and customer service improvements, whilst supporting an accelerated innovation agenda.
Christopher brings a wealth of TPM and end-to-end Supply Chain experience to HEINEKEN UK and will be instrumental in the ongoing transformation of our Supply Chain. -
Rob Kleinjan
Finance Director
Rob joined the UK business in September 2022 from Nigerian Breweries PLC, Nigeria’s largest brewer in which HEINEKEN has a majority shareholding. In his role as Finance Director he developed the Finance Function, embedding digital solutions, modernising critical revenue management and margin growth functions including Fx Management and implementing cross-functional programmes, which underpinned the turnaround of the Nigerian business.
Prior to his assignment in Nigeria, Rob was the Director Finance of the Brau Union Group, General Manager Brau Union Export and Ammersin in Austria. He joined HEINEKEN in 1996 as Financial Controller, subsequently holding a number of senior finance roles in HEINEKEN across Europe. -
Marta Martins Pinto
People Director
Marta Martins Pinto joined HEINEKEN UK in April 2022 from SCC-HEINEKEN Portugal where she’s been HR Director since 2019. Prior to joining our Portuguese OpCo, she worked forBurberry, the luxury goods company, and previously held HR roles in Aviation (NetJets) as well as several consultancies across Europe. With an extensive track record in designing and leading transformational agendas, Marta will shape and lead HEINEKEN UK’s people strategy which includes leadership and transformation capabilities, inclusion and diversity, and health and wellbeing for colleagues.

Lawson Mountstevens
Star Pubs Managing Director
Lawson joined Grand Met Brewing as a graduate trainee in 1990 before embracing a range of commercial roles with Scottish Courage and Scottish & Newcastle. His numerous roles with HEINEKEN have included Sales Managing Director Courage East, Sales Managing Director National Sales and most recently Managing Director, On Trade. In 2016, following the decision to appoint a dedicated Management Team member to lead Star Pubs, Lawson stepped into the role and recently fronted the multi-million pound acquisition and transfer of nearly 1,900 Punch pubs into our estate.

Lynsey Nicoll
Legal Affairs Director
Lynsey joined the HEINEKEN UK Management Team in June 2021, following three years as Head of UK Legal and Company Secretary, during which time she contributed significantly to the development of the Legal function, focusing on providing proactive guidance and best-in-class legal support across the business. Lynsey joined HEINEKEN UK in January 2012 from a leading commercial law firm, having undertaken several secondments to legal teams in large complex businesses across the UK.

Will Rice
On Trade Director
Will joined the Management Team in April 2023, having spent the last 10 years with HEINEKEN UK in a number of senior commercial leadership roles across Star Pubs & Bars and both the Off and On Trade. Prior to this role Will was Trading Director leading our Independent Free Trade and Regional Brewers business in the South of the UK.
Will joined HEINEKEN UK from L’Oreal where he started his career on their Commercial Management Trainee scheme. He lives in London with his family. -
Stephen Rooney
Transformation Director
Stephen joined the Management Team in May 2021 having spent the previous 17 years with HEINEKEN UK in a number of commercial roles in the On Trade and Star Pubs & Bars. His most recent experience was as Trading Director in the On Trade leading our independent free trade business in the north of the UK. At Star Pubs & Bars Stephen led the integration of the 2,500 pubs acquired from Punch Taverns in 2018.
In his role as Transformation Director Stephen is focussed on large Transformation Projects across multiple functions in HEINEKEN UK, providing the governance and structure to ensure successful delivery of our strategic agenda. Stephen lives in Dunfermline with his wife and two children. -
Rajeev Sathyesh
Marketing Director
Rajeev joined the UK business in January 2024 from the HEINEKEN region in Asia Pacific where, as the Commercial Development Director, he helped reverse a 10-year trend of stagnation of the Heineken® brand. He also played a key role in shaping the company’s Asia Pacific commercial agenda.
Before joining HEINEKEN in 2021, Rajeev worked with Procter and Gamble for more than 15 years across geographies including Asia, Europe, Americas, and Africa where he held marketing and commercial leadership positions.
Rajeev has a proven track record as a marketeer who drives brand growth and a leader who creates high performing teams. He also comes with a strong commercial acumen and a wealth of experience.
