After a successful debut during the 2023 festival, Strongbow again stayed faithful to the LGBTQIA+ community at Brighton & Hove Pride to bring back the “Strongbow Stage of Greatness”
The sponsorship, managed by Pulse Marketing Group and executed by MESH, also saw the brand collaborate with Instagram sensations, HUNSNET during the Fabuloso festival. This year, they brought an extra dose of excitement to the stage with a star-studded float and festival performance featuring special guests and newly crowned gay icon, Diane Carson from the hit show "The Traitors," and Cheryl Fergison of Eastenders fame.
The cider brand served a selection of flavours including new Strongbow Strawberry and activated with merchandise giveaways, audience performances, sampling and interactive archery.
Not only that but the brand partnered once more with the world’s only disability-led and disability- focused marketing agency, Purple Goat, to ensure that the "Stage of Greatness" area was as accessible as possible. Strongbow's commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment was demonstrated through their accessible bar, ramped stage access, and provision of BSL interpreters for each performance. By partnering with Purple Goat, Strongbow continues to prioritize authentic representation and engagement with the disabled community.
Rachel Holms, cider brand director at HEINEKEN UK, says: “As we strive to be the most inclusive drinks brand, we were thrilled to activate once more at Brighton & Hove Pride with Strongbow. By spotlighting Pride with Strongbow, we hope to bring further awareness of the occasion and champion LGBTQIA+ voices, as well as delighting consumers and festival goers with our entire flavour range.”
Dom Hyams, of Purple Goat, said: “It’s clear Strongbow is fully committed to fostering an even more inclusive brand world, and this is particularly pertinent at live events. Enabling everyone to feel welcome and included is a really important aspect of this and one that will have made a huge difference to many.”
