Embracing DE&I

We believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion. We know that when our colleagues bring their true selves to work, it enables us to better understand our customers and consumers and make informed decisions.

We want to be a great place to work, ensuring our people can thrive in an inclusive and fair environment. At the same time, we aim to create opportunities that drive positive change across communities and our value chain.

Inclusive Leadership

We're committed to increasing gender balance, aiming for 40% of senior management roles to be held by women by 2030. Our Women & Allies Network promotes a gender-balanced workplace and supports the progress of talented women in the business.

We’re building stronger pipelines of female talent and ensuring recruitment, development, and promotion are fair, equitable, and driven by performance.

Brewing with Love

After Brighton and Manchester, we celebrated our fourth Pride in the city we call home this year.

Fostering Social Connection

We’re a business built on social connections and Brewing the Joy of True Togetherness to inspire a better world is our purpose. We encourage people to come together and create moments that matter over a beer or a cider, in our pubs or at home.

Our journey in alleviating loneliness began in 2016 with our first Brewing Good Cheer campaign. In 2023 we partnered with Marmalade Trust, a leading loneliness charity with a mission aligned to our purpose.

To date, we’ve donated over £500,000 to Marmalade Trust and we proactively seek opportunities to build social connections in our pubs, brands and people.[G

Stronger Together

As a business, we encourage our colleagues to do what they can to support their local community.

Each year, colleagues are entitled to up to three days of paid leave so they can volunteer. On top of this, we support colleague fundraising by matching what they raise up to £500.
