That's why we're launching free Brewing Appreciation Days across our UK sites in Hereford, Manchester and Tadcaster – building an inclusive, welcoming space where women, non-binary and gender-diverse people can discover brewing and supply chain careers.
Perhaps you're already working or studying in our industry, weighing up your careers options or considering a career change. Regardless of whatever brings you here, we want to hear from you!
No prior experience needed – just curiosity, an interest in brewing and an open mind.
Event details
We’re hosting small, immersive sessions (approx. 10 people per site) to ensure a meaningful experience.
- Hereford – Friday 25th September, 1pm to 4:30pm
- Tadcaster – Wednesday 30th September, 1pm to 5pm
- Manchester – Thursday 8th October, 1pm to 4:30pm
Spaces are limited and will be allocated via an application process. If you’re selected and need financial support, you may be eligible to apply for up to £100 through the Beer Unlocked bursary scheme (see FAQs below).

Once the registration window closes, we’ll review all applications and contact successful applicants with next steps. You’ll then have a few days to confirm your attendance, so keep an eye on your emails and check your spam just in case.

You’ll be asked to share a few details about yourself and why you’re interested in attending – we’d love to hear more about your interest in brewing! If selected, you’ll have a few days to confirm your attendance, and you’ll also receive information about how to apply for bursary support if needed (see question 8 - Is there a cost to attend and if I'm invited and can I get financial support to travel).
Yes. Places are limited to around 10 attendees per site. Applications will be reviewed with proximity to site taken into consideration, but we welcome submissions from anyone aged 18 or over and based in the UK.
Our Brewing Appreciation Days are completely free to attend.
If you’re invited to attend and need help covering travel costs, childcare or dependent care costs, or loss of income due to taking time away from your usual paid job, you can apply for up to £100 in support through Women On Tap’s Beer Unlocked bursary scheme, which removes financial barriers preventing women from accessing opportunities in beer or brewing.
If your application is successful and you’re confirmed as an attendee, we’ll share full details on how to apply for bursary support as part of your invitation.
While attending doesn’t guarantee a role with us, it’s a great way to learn about career pathways, meet our teams and discover opportunities within brewing and supply chain at HEINEKEN.
We have production sites in Tadcaster, Manchester and Herefordshire (Hereford and Ledbury, along with hundreds of acres of nearby orchards), each offering plenty of exciting roles.
